" Not all those who wander are lost. J.R.R Tolkien" When i go to new places i love experiencing new parks and places. Be it with other couples or Alone. One of my favorite mini sessions to date has been this session at the Hoh National Rainforest in the famous Forks WA. Saying the scenery was beautiful is being timid. If you want to experience an overwhelming amount of emotions then this is the place for you. Enjoy some of my favorites from this beautiful (and rare) Washington day.
Destination weddings are by far my favorite weddings to photograph. I get to meet so many new and amazing people. This Vermont wedding was nothing short of amazing people, beautiful couple, and most important in any wedding A BACKUP PLAN! Whenever you have an outdoor wedding i CANNOT express how important it is to have a backup plan.
This gorgeous Barn wedding was set to have an outdoor ceremony but the weather had a different plan. Despite a change in the brides plans we thankfully had a backup plan! One of the Bride and Grooms friends had recently gotten married and lent them their white umbrellas! Talk about small town kindness! Here is a peak at this amazing backup plan to their portraits and wedding day!
Lifestyle Photography | Newborn Session
When one of your returning customers (who always dresses to impress) asked me to do a newborn session i jumped for joy! I explained I don't shoot your typical newborn sessions and I take a more lifestyle / documentary feel and turn it into something beautiful. She already knew regardless of my style she wanted it. When choosing a photographer their style and what they bring to the table is what you're ultimately hiring. As there are many amazing photographers in the world and their job is to showcase life through their eyes.
Here is my story of Sparrow and Brave. The most protective and giggliest of big brothers enjoying his new sister.
To say it was an honor to photograph this engagement session is an understatement. The soon to be bride and I work together at the amazing Young at Art Museum in Davie, FL, where we quickly became great friends. Delaney has been one of the most inspiring and encouraging people in my business ventures and I wanted to provide something creative and stylish in return.
The love Delaney and Ethan have for one another is the type you see in movies, and I'm not just saying this because I feel like I have to. His sweet comments, to her softly wiping away dust from his face were only a few of the incredible moments I encountered. All I had to do was stand back and spectate the moments transpiring between them.
I can't thank these two enough for trusting me to be their photographer during these personal endeavors in life. Scroll down to see more photos from this amazing Engagement session at Butterflyworld in Pompano Beach, FL
When I got the call for this project I was beyond excited. Mariela is beautiful, smart, fun, and super creative. I just knew we would create awesome images together. We started out the day at the beautiful Las olas Riverfront in Fort Lauderdale, FL and made our way to one of my favorite parks, Tree Tops in Davie, FL. The day was nothing but fun, full of laughter. "yassss gurls!" and so much more.
We immediately hit it off and connected knowing that this was the perfect match!, and let me tell you I enjoyed the laughs almost as much as photographing her. Please enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating them. And keep on the look out (subscribe to my blog) for more to come in the future! As we have some awesome plans ahead.
It's not often you find brides you click with off the bat. Who you know trust you and your vision fully for their big day. But when I do I get super nervous to deliver photos as I always want my clients to be beyond happy with the product. The moment I met Pam i knew we were going to have a great experience together. From planning ideas to learning more about her and her soon to be hubby. The process was a breeze and I loved every minute of it. Please enjoy some of my favorite moments from her day.
When I am welcomed and feel like one of the wedding party I know its going to be a good day. Pam and Xavi's wedding party were so responsive to my presence and having fun. If you're not laughing you're missing out is my motto.
To think 20 years ago I already knew one of the most inspirational and supportive friends I would ever have. Sabrina and I lived in the same neighborhood when we were young probably 2yrs old to 5years old. We even have pictures to prove it. She then moved to Atlanta, GA where some of my family lives as well. One day we decided "hey let's meet up and do a collab." as she is an artist and I was a photographer. We instantly hit it off and a new found friendship was made.
She has quickly become my cheerleader and I hers. We are always bouncing new ideas or helping each other with anything from outfit ideas, to website designs. When you find a supportive person keep them and make sure you thank them and appreciate them the way they do for you. Enjoy these images we did while i was away on vacation of her and her incredible husband Mike.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a fellow photographer who I was inspired by from the moment I looked at her work. We met online through a business class started talked and messaging and immediately hit it off. We realized it was only a few hours to get to Tuscaloosa, AL from Atlanta we immediately planned a family session, as I was traveling to visit family anyways! Ashley had a place in mind and a goal set to have images taken of each child with her. I had my doubts this would work out as all family sessions are stressful and normally everyone is always late.
Well being late was way more than alright in this case as the light was incredible. I couldnt have asked for a sweeter family and location.
She is superwoman for sure! Having 3 kids under the age of 5 the oldest being the sweetest little one Eli who has down syndrome, then sweet Ruby who totally hated the camera and kept saying don't take pictures of me, turned into the star of the show. Then the youngest Wyatt who just wanted to skip rocks the whole time. They were the perfect little family!
New year New beginnings. This year has brought many challenges and many blessings in a short month and a half. I decided to go big or go home for a lack of better words. Forming an LLC, rebranding, photoshoots, anything and everything one could think a business owner would need to do. The greatest gift anyone could give me are photos of myself doing what I love, and that is exactly what I received. All my hard work and efforts have been poured out into Photographs, and i couldn't love them more. From one South Florida Wedding Photographer to one Arkansas Wedding Photographer Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these precious memories.
It isn't a successful shoot if everyone is cracking up at some point. I love incorporating jokes and good humor into producing candid shots.
Thank you for supporting me and all I have accomplished. I can't wait to show you whats in store.
